My dear dear dear friend Jennifer and her family are moving too far away from us, leaving next week. She wanted to get some family photos done before they left.
Avery is such a beautiful girl with gorgeous blue eyes, and full of energy. She finally started suggesting poses/shots to us...and we got some cute ones. The first one was her idea! :)
I picked up 3 bushels of apples on my way home from WV last week and today we started the process of making applebutter.
Ryan did most of the work with help from Abigail & Caleb. He started out with his HUGE 122qt. pot that *almost* covered all 4 burners, but then the stove breaker tripped so he had to pour them into two smaller (yet still large) pots. Abigail was so impatient, she kept asking if it was time to make the applesauce yet (she wanted to crank the juicer). We finally got the apples cooked and she got to crank and poke the apples down. They are such good helpers. :)
When I left Dad's house to return home today there was a very fine mist of rain. I stopped at the Apple Orchard to get some apples and was able to get some cool shots.
While at my Dad's house we heard on his scanner of an accident with a car on fire near his house. All 3 occupants were out of the vehicle with minor injuries, so we went to check it out.
Our friends have twin girls, born one month after Abigail & Caleb. That first New Years Eve we got together at their house with some other friends of theirs and we took a group shot of Jack (born in July) Abigail & Caleb (born in August) and Caitlin & Mackenzie (born in Sept). Every year since then we have plopped them on the same couch, trying to get them in the same order, and taken a group photo.
It's amazing to see the change over the 5 years. :)
I had fun checking out new places with Nicole, and trying to outrun the rain. :) Here's a sneak peek Nicole. :) I still have alot to go through...I'll get them to you as soon as I can.
