2nd Annual Live & Learn

My friend is the chairperson of our local SEAC (Special Education Advisory Committee). Our county and 4 other counties plus PREP (Piedmont Regional Education Program) organized the 2nd Annual Live & Learn conference, offering workshops for families of children with special needs. I was there to take pictures: :)

Spring

In honor of the first day of Spring - some of the local flowers//shrubs/blooms that are shining through, signaling the end of the dreary gray of winter.

The next morning - Curls

well, we got a few nice curls but for the most part her hair was still wet/damp. Next time we'll roll with smaller curlers, smaller sections of hair, and tighter rolls. :) she's happy with it, that's all that matters.

Girly Girl

I'm not much of a girly Girl, but Abigail is. She loves all things Girly - high heels, dress up, makeup, fingernail polish, jewelry, etc. Her newest love? Curls in her hair - just like Sleeping Beauty. Problem is, she has stick straight hair. This is our second attempt with curlers. The first attempt flopped...literally. She had curls for at most, half an hour. I hope these hold long enough in the morning for me to get some pictures. :)

Tyler

Tina's oldest, my nephew Tyler. He's a handsome one with a mind of his own! He wasn't too into our "photo session" to begin with, but warmed up and did a fantastic job!

Aaron

Tina's youngest, my nephew Aaron. Such a cutie, and such a character! He wasn't too happy about getting his picture taken, but he did great!
